Stream monitor
test at Miller's
Jay Gilliam will be in Rappahannock County this Saturday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. at Cliff Miller's farm for anyone interested in getting certified as a stream monitor. Even if residents are interested, but not ready to take the test, they can come practice. For additional information or directions call Beth Gall at 937-5048.
Course offered
A hunter safety course will be offered at Amissville fire hall on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 1 to 6 p.m. Pre-registration is required. For additional information call Jim Bankston at 937-5192.
Directors to meet
The September board of directors meeting for RLEP, the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, will take place Monday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Public Library. The meeting is open to the public.
