RN: "Suzanne, first let me welcome you to Rappahannock County. When did you move to the country and what attracted you to the area?"
SZ: "Thanks, Rappahannock County is a wonderful area and the people are so friendly. We moved from Warrenton to Flint Hill a couple months ago to have a place that is a little more secluded. We considered moving to West Virginia but that is just too far away. I wanted a more rural lifestyle and yet have my family close by in Warrenton."
"I had a lovely studio in an old farmhouse in Warrenton but when we decided to move, I lost my studio. In fact that is how I came to be in Sperryville. I first thought I would have just a studio, but as I was unloading my kiln, people would come in and ask if they could buy the work. The idea grew. Now I can work and have this lovely little gallery at the same time. I have fhe opportunity to work and converse with my customers on a really intimate level."
