James Jenkins

James B. Jenkins, 70, of Culpeper, died Saturday, Sept. 9 at his residence.
Mr. Jenkins was born March 22, 1930 in Rappahannock County to the late Willie Jenkins and Lizzie Settle Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was most recently a truck driver with Culpeper Wood Preservers and was known by the handle "Snake." He started Jenkins Painting in 1969 and turned the business over to his sons in 1972 which allowed him time for his favorite sporthorse racing.
Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mildred K. Jenkins; four sons, Larry Jenkins and his wife Mary of Culpeper, Bernard K. "Moe" Jenkins and his wife Susie of Fredericksburg, Mike Jenkins and his fiancee Liz, and David Jenkins, all of Culpeper.
