The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have Homecoming services on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. The Rev. A. D. Goodson, former pastor will deliver the message. A covered dish dinner will follow the service at the fire hall.
The Rev. Phil Hunsicker of Hood will be guest speaker in the Sperryville United Methodist Church on Sept. 24 and Oct. 1 during the absence of the pastor. Services begin at 11:15 a.m. The public is invited.
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary met at the fire hall last Monday for their final meeting for the year. Thqre were nine members present:
Denise Bullett and son, Tyler of Connecticut spent tfre weekend visiting her parents, Merlin and Joy Shorb.
Mark and Diane Graves of Summerduck were Sunday visitors of Mark's grandmother, Edna Lillard.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hawkins of Fredericksburg were Wednesday visitors of her mother.
Mrs. Joanne Welch and Elizabeth were Friday evening guests in the home of Barbara and Tiffany Wayland at Sperryville for a Mary Kay party hosted by Mrs. Pat Giles of Washington. Others also attended the party.
