On Saturday, Aug. 26 a baby shower was held at the Washington Fire Hall for Mrs. Shannon East.
It was hosted by her mother, Mrs. Betty Walter, her sister, Amanda Walter, her aunt, Mrs. Peggy Atkins and cousin, Mrs. Michelle Atkins-Jenkins.
Shannon received many nice gifts from her family and friends. She and her husband Scott are expecting their first child in late September.
Mrs. Bernice Lee Woodward has returned to her home on Fodderstack Road after having major surgery at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester. We wish her a nice recovery.
