A 42-year-old Washington woman was arrested early on the morning of Sept. 4 after she allegedly discharged a firearm during a family dispute.
Sharron Proper, who lives on Lee Highway was charged with reckless handling of a firearm by Dep. Mark Currence of the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office. According to the report filed by Currence, the incident, which was reported at about 2:27 a.m., took place on Christmas Tree Lane west of Washington.
