Massanova Pentecostal Church, located on Aaron Mountain Road will be having their homecoming this Sunday, Sept. 17, followed by a week of revival services through Sept. 24, each evening at 7.
Rev. Phillip Deane of Elkton will be quest speaker for these services and Pastor Savage and congregation invite the public.
Our prayers go out to William Oliver Burke, uncle of Mrs. Janet Peregory, who has suffered two strokes and is now in a Charlottesville nursing home.
We continue to covet prayers for Albert Goodall, a patient in University of Virginia Hospital, who has shown some improvement. His pastor, Elder Wayne Richards, Owen Cubbage and Harvey Tharp visited him Wednesday.
In addition we must not forget Mrs. Rosie Wharton who is ill and in need of prayer.
Mrs. Faye Clinedinst spent the Labor Day holiday weekend with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Wilson and family in Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and sons of Turkey Ridge Road, Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier of Castleton Ford Road and Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were in Winchester Friday evening and Saturday to attend funeral services for their last aunt Mrs. Nettie D. Corbin, held at Jones Funeral and burial following in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
