Yearbook galleys had been sent in March from the Sperryville Post Office, he said, and he had expected that the finished yearbooks would be awaiting his return to school after the summer break, but they were not. He has duplicate copy for the 1999 yearbook, but does not have copies of the photographs. Franklin Warner chastised him for sending "everything" and not retaining copies, and suggested that he do so in the future.
