Apples" are made to give an impression of looking through and into a space. This technique makes the containing or outer frame problematic. I felt that in only two of the examples named were the problems successfully solved.
Besides their often vivid colors, the compositions are notable for their textures: if they were not covered with glass, they would be fingered and perhaps destroyed. Onfe work, "Elemental Landscape Copper" on show in the members' exhibit room, is mounted as it came from a relief form which verifies what I have said above.
