Mr. and Mrs. William Buntin, who have been occupying an apartment in the home of Miss Lottie Burton, have recently purchased the property of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wagner on Main Street between the properties of Miss Margaret Compton and Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Jenkins. The Buntins hope to move by Oct. 1. L.R. Hudson of Slate Mills was re-elected president of the Rappahannock Home Mutual Fire Insurance Company at the annual meeting Sept. 9 at the courthouse in Washington. Members represented in presence and proxy numbered 378. The Rappahannock County Fair catalog is out, announcing the classes and prizes for the fair at Rappahannock High School on Sept. 30. Henry Miller entertained at his home Monday night with a lobster supper for several out-of-town guests. Five of our county girls will leave for Madison College, Harrisonburg this weekend. Two of the girls, Jean Brown and Joan Kelly Aylor were graduates of Sperryville High School. Three of the girls, Gladys Reid, Jo Ellen Worth and Mary Karlan Fincham were graduates
