This position will work out of odf Flint Hill, VA offices maintaining our Optix system located at UUNet in Vienna, VA. Duties include maintaining customer configurations, creating usage and billing reports, assisting customers in the use of Optix, creating Optix screens, back up and restore the system with Veritas and Exabyte, configure and maintain the Cisco firewall, and administer electronic security. Working knowledge of the following is desirable: UNIX and Oracle, RAID configurations, UNIX scripting, Apache Web servers and Stronghold security, firewalls, Veritas NetBackup, and HTML.
