The rock wall around the cemetery is still in good condition. Mr. Maywood Cornwell has had to rework the iron gate at the entrance after someone took it off and threw it into the bushes.
Some of the names of those who are buried there are: Bolen, Gaunt, Woodward, Bailey and Dwyer. They all lived in that vicinity before the park was dedicated.
If you have close relatives buried there, the Park Service will provide you with a key to unlock the chain marking the park line. This fire road is not in the wilderness, so you are allowed to drive a vehicle to the cemetery.
Mr. Bernard Bolen owned more than 700 acres of land. The cemetery and a concrete spring is all that remains.
