On Sunday, Sept. 24 the annual homecoming and the 100th church anniversary celebration will be held. Pastor John R. Pendleton will be preaching in the morning, lunch will be served and at 3 p.m. Rev. Alfred Woods and his choir and congregation from Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Front Royal will be the guests. "The public is invited to enjoy these times of fellowship," said a church spokesperson.
