are with the family of Randy and Debbie Smith, as Randy recovers from liver surgery at home.

Randy and Debbie have three sons and reside in Amissville. Donations are being collected at stores around the area, and a breakfast is being planned by the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department, where Randy has been a member for many years.

He is also a member of the Culpeper County Fire and Rescue Company. He will have a long recovery and many doctor bills, cards and donations to help with the cost can be sent to 3444 Indian Run Road, Amissville, Va. 20106, c/o Everett Smith Jr. Also, keep his mom Louise Smith in your prayers as well.

Country Kids Playgroup will resume on Monday Oct. 2 at the Jeffersonton Community Center. New families are welcome to join, the group is for children ages infant to five years.

They meet every Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. Toys are provided as well as crafts. The group is non-profit, but minimum dues are collected to defray the cost of the rent. For more information call Barbara Verhaalen at 349-3185.
