Girls basketball has been re-established at Rappahannock County High School after a number of years of absence. Instructor Ann Spieker has undertaken the direction of intramural and intrascholastic girls competition the past several years and her efforts are becoming visible this year. Seventh grade students at Rappahannock County Elementary School will begin a candle sale this week and it will continue through the Christmas season. Proceeds realized from the sale of candles will help finance an educational trip to historic Williamsburg for these seventh graders. Panorama Realty in Sperryville was offering 25 acres of woodland approximately three miles south of Sperryville in the F.T. Valley for $21,000. Another listing was 60 acres with good variety of open and woodland near Flint Hill, several streams, building sites with over 1100 feet of frontage on secluded state road for only $55,000.
