Rixey Virginia Frye, 91, of Flint Hill died Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Front Royal.
Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Flint Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Merlin Shorb.
Mrs. Frye was bom May 6, 1909 in Flint Hill, daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah E. Foster Riley. She was the wife of the late James N. Frye and Milton Walters.
Surviving are three sons, Howard E. Walters of Huntly, James E. Frye of Gloucester, Mass, and Bobby Frye of Castleton and four daughters, Sarah Foster, Emma Clifton and Ella Eubank, all of Front Royal and Lucy Rutherford of Huntly.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Floyd Riley of Front Royal and RJ. "Tinker" Riley of White Post; 17 grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
