The world-famous Inn at Little Washington will open its guest rooms for a tour Sept. 18 to benefit the Episcopal Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish. Tickets for the event, which includes tea in The Inn's garden following the tour, are $10 per person. The Board of Supervisors authorized County Administrator John McCarthy to negotiate with Blue Ridge Appraisal Company to conduct a reassessment of real estate in Rappahannock County. The reassessment process will be spread out over two budget years and tax bills based on the new assessments will be first mailed in the fall of 1992 for the 1992-93 budget year. Leslie Nichols of Flint Hill has been selected to receive a Blanch Russell Sabetty Orchestra Scholarship for the 1990-91 academic year at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg. A 1998 graduate of Rappahannock County High school, Miss Nichols is a junior at Mary Washington College. She is mooring in music, with a concentration in piano performance and is seeking certification in the elementary education program.
