Marshall sought board approval for a weekend trip to New York City for nine advanced placement studio art students. The trip would be privately funded and would provide the students with an opportunity to "look at art" to help prepare them for presentations of their own work. The board agreed to the trip, subject to a review of liability issues by Dr. Gangel.
