A Clean Slate
It is time to begin a new year of growth. There will be new teachers, plus exciting and challenging learning material. We will forget the mistakes of last year or learn from them and begin again, ready and refreshed.
The instruction of our children will determine the future of our world. Philosophers of old realized the importance of education. We read in Proverbs 4:13... “Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go; keep her; for she is thy life.” In this time of more and more expensive toys and designer clothing for children, the greatest gift we can give to our youngsters is to help them become excited about education.
May we also provide our children with an opportunity for their spiritual education; the mind, the body, and the spirit must flow in harmony for total growth, to be realized. Worship together as a family regularly. You can begin each week with a clean slate.
