Only 22 percent of the individual schools in the entire state of Virginia achieved at this high level, which makes us especially proud of our students and staff.
Adding to the festive occasion were the fifth grade band making their debut performance with guest conductor, RCHS senior, Samantha Breeden, and the sixth and seventh grade band playing exceptionally well under the direction of Mrs. Lynne Fournier.
Members of the School Board in attendance for this celebration were Ms. Rosa Crocker, Mrs. Aline Johnson and Mrs. Rose Anne Sharp. Other special guests who attended were Superintendent *Or. David Gangel and Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Helen Williams. It was also a pleasure to see a number of parents in the audience.
