Meetings of both the Chairpersons and the Team Captains for the Rappahannock County’s Relay for Life were held to continue planning the event which will be held at the Rappahannock County Elementary School on May 18-19.

The Relay for Life is the annual fund raising event of the Rappahannock County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Relay for Life is a community event in which teams of 8-15 people (15 maximum on one team) from Rappahannock County take turns in the Relay. One or more team members at a time walk or run the track in shifts during the night. Last year there were over 40 teams taking part.
