•www.Senior.com: This site, launched in 1995, bills itself as “The Best Online Community for Seniors,” and earned an award last year as best senior Web site from eMarketer.com to back up that claim. The site offers free membership access to email and online discussion groups — and proudly noted late last year when a pair of 67-year-olds from the Midwest, who first met in one of its “chat rooms,” got married.
