Culpeper, Treasurer.

Elected to the hunt’s board of directors were Douglas Ginsburg of Flint Hill, Martha Ellis Kelley of Broad Run, John Leary of Rapidan, Carol Lee Quaintance of Flint Hill, and Debbie Baker of Rapidan.

During the annual meeting which took place at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Hall, members of the hunt presented a commemorative plaque to David Ingram, retiring President.

Afterward, a framed article was given to Jo Mariea and Calvert Clark, owners of the Bleu Rock Inn, in appreciation for the Inn’s becoming the permanent home of the hunts annual steeplechase horse races.

The highly successful and well attended races were held at the Bleu Rock’s new racetrack on March 3. A portion of the proceeds of the races will be donated to Headwaters, Boy Scout Troop 36, and local rescue squads.
