Charles Henry Pendleton, 84, of Strasburg died Monday, April 9 at Rose Hill Nursing Home in Berryville.

Funeral services were conducted on April 12 at 1 Stover Funeral Home in ' Strasburg by the Rev. Donald Simpkins. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery in ' Front Royal.

Mr. Pendleton was born Feb. 6, 1917, in Amissville, ' son of the late John and Lena Pendleton. He was employed as a construction worker.

Surviving are his wife, Lou Pendleton; two sons, Charles R. Pendleton of Strasburg and Russell Pendleton of Winchester; two daughters, Josephine Strother and Anna Grandison, both of Strasburg; a sister, Matt Wilson of Front Royal and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
