Dr. Robert Meyer takes his wife of 40 years into his arms and, as effortlessly as breathing, they twirl away into a waltz.
Marge Meyer has been dancing with this man so long, she doesn’t have to worry about what her feet are doing. She’s free to look up at him and be enveloped by a dazzling smile that closes the two of them off into a world of their own.
The waltz is their favorite dance, although the Argentine tango runs a close second. They’ve done it all: the foxtrot, the rumba, the salsa, plus swing dancing. For a couple of years, they performed with a country-western dance troupe, bringing music alive for residents of Sunrise, Oak Springs and other facilities.
