The 23rd annual Fodderstack 10K Race is set for Saturday, April 21. There are 118 pre-registered runners/walkers.
By far the largest age group preregistering is between the ages of 50-59 with over 30 registrations.
The oldest participants thus far are Mervyn Jeffries at 71, a frequent runner and winner and Lowell Owsley, 71, who has participated every year.
The Parrish/ Strange contingency is out in full force again this year with Phillip, Merrill, Lily and Alexander Strange along with Chris Parrish and daughters, Amelia and Lena (who took home 1 one of her aunt’s trophies last year).
There is a teacher/ student combo this year - eight year old Tiffany Wayland and her teacher, Kelly Estes are practicing for the big day!
A father/ daughter team is returning - Jenks and Berkeley Hobson.
