Washington Baptist Church will be having its Spring Spiritual Renewal Services April 22-25 and it extends an invitation to all to attend. Guest evangelist will be Rev. Rodney J. Hale. Rev. Hale served as an Associate Minister in two churches in Alabama before coming as pastor to the College Hill Baptist Church in Lynchburg in 1972. Following five years of successful ministry there, he took a position with the Baptist General Association of Virginia providing leadership training in Christian ministry. He is presently serving as Regional Mission Resource Consultant of the Virginia Baptist Resource Center in Richmond. Rev. Hale has spoken at many conferences and churches and written for numerous publications. He is a dynamic speaker and an inspiring preacher. He will also be giving a children’s sermon at each service.

The services will begin with Rev. Hale speaking in the Sunday School hour at Washington Baptist Church on April 22 at 10 a.m. Then he will deliver the main message in the morning worship hour. A covered dish supper will take place at 6 p.m. and an informal Christian contemporary worship experience will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Rev Hale will be preaching at each service.
