Issues Committee to meet
The Issues & Resolutions Committee of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will meet on Monday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. On the agenda are draft resolutions on campaign finance reform, sewage sludge, the addition of a prescription drug benefit to Medicare, medical privacy protection, broadening the FAMIS program into universal health coverage of all Virginians and support of the County Historical Survey. Ki Theatre features Wyrrick
Dancer-choreographer Sharon Wymck merges the arts and sciences on the Kit Theatre stage this Saturday. April 21 at 8 p.m. in her unique work, “Rare Ecstasy: The Life and Work of Barbara McClintock."
Always inspiring and provocative, Wyrrick uses movement, prose and poetry, visuals and music to help us discover the groundbreaking scientific work of McClintock, a Nobel Prize winning geneticist. Wyrrick has performed nationally and internationally as well as at Kit Theatre. She has won numerous awards for her many exciting and beautiful works.
