Lovers and Elves: A
Shakespearean Panorama”

The Rappahannock Repertory Company under the gracious sponsorship of the Rappahannock Association for Arts and the Community will present a pageant drawn from scenes of the works of William Shakespeare. A cast of over 30 actors will portray many of the well-known characters as Henry V, Juliet, Romeo, and Macbeth, as well as lesser-known and often very funny characters. The cast which ranges in age from 2 years old to 87 years young have been costumed by Marie Scavetti and will perform to a sound track designed by Matt Fitzgerald. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:00, Sunday matinees at 3:00 in Cliff Miller’s School House in Sperryville. The show is a delightful, colorful romp that appeals to children. A short demonstration of stage combat and safety by Devin Lindsey and Kim Sealock will be offered just preceding the start of the play. Brooke Parkhurst will also play selections of Celtic flute music prior to some performances. General seating for all performances, but please contact us so we will know number of seats to plan. There is no set ticket price, instead you are invited to pay what you can, like, or wish. We hope that you will come to the play several times to see your favorite actors perform in several roles. The performance runs one hour and 15 minutes with no intermission.
