They lost their religious leader, Rev. Proctor on November 16, 1970. He had a growing understanding of all men, and sought after a vital interpretation of the highest manifestation of God in all relationships.
Rev. James A. Price, after prayerful consideration, accepted the invitation to become the fourth pastor on October 10, 1971. The late Rev. A. A. Booker preached the Installation Sermon. On that day marked the beginning of a valued relationship with the church family and the community that spanned 27 years.
Rev. Price inspired leadership, spurred growth and directed the expansion of the church’s facilities and programs. He was grounded in a strong faith in God and His son Jesus Christ, and committed his life to a mission of continued spiritual growth and meaningful service.
