Ballard’s bring home all of their life experiences into play with their constantly evolving shop and gallery.
“I love research, checking out suppliers, other businesses, and learning as much as I can,” said Joanie happily, “I also enjoy doing lots of leg , work, keeping my eye out for anything unique, artful, and beautiful from around the world that Robert and I come upon when on our trips.”
The Ballard’s have been familiar faces throughout the community as both are on the, board of RAAC, and serve as. founding members of WHVA (Washington Hospitality and Visitor’s Association) Robert has worked as a committee member on the successful Rappahannock Studio and Art Tour for the last three years.
“I certainly think that they are a wonderful addition to the town,” said Washington Town Mayor Eugene Leggett, about the long standing business, “The Ballards have a very good feeling for quality.”
Together their collective energy and positive and creative outlook can only add more to their shop as they move into the future.
