Naramore
Valedictorian Christina Naramore took her academics seriously throughout her school career, being one of the first Rappahannock students to tackle the challenge of the Mountain Vista Governor’s school.
“It was possibly the best experience I have ever had educationally, especially in math and science,” Naramore said, about the advanced study program. “It was definitely worth it.” Naramore noted that Melissa Delcour, Jim West, and Dave Naser were her most inspirational teachers, as she strove for excellence. Although academics was near the top of Naramore’s priorities, she also afforded time for softball in her busy schedule. “I’m kind of a student athlete, she said, “I think it’s important to get out of the academics and have an outlet.” Naramore will spend the summer working on a local farm and playing for the Explosions, a team out of Fairfax. Naramore will continue to play softball at Emerson University in Boston, where she plans to major in Political Communications.
