Start your Saturday morning off with a good breakfast, stay around for the silent auction and bake sale, and help out the Rappahannock Charge at the same time.
Please mark Saturday, June 23 on your calendars - come have a fantastic countrystyle buffet breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes & apples, sausage gravy, biscuits, fresh fruit, pastry, juices, milk and coffee.
Flint Hill's own Richard Brady will provide the music.
Serving starts at 8 a.m. and runs till 10:30 a.m. or until the food runs out.
Need some deserts for the weekend? There will be plenty of freshly baked homemade goodies - a variety of pies, cakes, cookies & brownies!
The silent auction has a large variety of items - dinner for two donated by The Inn At Little Washington, a 33 x 28 professionally framed fox hunting picture, French table runner - 17 x 79 donated by R.H. Ballard, antique claw leg tub w/ refinishing kit donated by Jean Lillard, An Irish Hazelwood walking stick donated by Anilori's Celtic House, Ibanez Nylon String Acoustic-electric guitar donated by Duane Siler, an original etching by Viviane Siler, Xerox copying machine donated by Dwight Matthews, new Damask table cloth & napkins - several sets donated by Peggy Ralph, a very large, beautiful basket of fine toiletries and beauty treats donated by Loving Arms, office furniture and equipment and much much more!
The tag sale will have a wide variety of items ranging in price from $1 to $50.
The king-size homemade quilt will be on display to preview and tickets will be available.
We are also having a drawing that will indude $25 gift certificate donated by Flint Hill Public House Restaurant, one of Mary Frances Bywaters' famous pies, Sue Claffy's mother's recipe - fresh coconut cake, and two framed pictures. For $1 you will have an opportunity to take home one of the above.
So come out to the Flint Hill Fire Hall on Saturday and spend a few hours eating, browsing the silent auction items, and checking out those special baked goods
