Safeway Eastern Division's Loss Prevention Department located in Lanham. Maryland has an immediate opening for a Loss Prevention Investigator to support our stores in Virginia College degree preferred with a miiumuip of five years experience in retail security. Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and report writing skills mandatory. A clean driving and work/attendance history essential.
The job requires conducting in-dept criminal and civil investigations, interviewing witnesses and suspects, testifying in legal actions, union hearings, and unemployment hearing. Must possess knowledge of retail store inventory and cash management, and have the proven ability to write clear and concise reports. Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel. Power Point, and Outlook), good time management skills and the ability to adapt to change and required.
