Farther North on Gay Street is Rush River, an artists and craftsmen's cooperative gallery featuring quilting, weaving, furniture, pottery and other crafts produced by lccal people. Some of the members will be on hand to demonstrate their skill. Rush River also has a variety of books on crafts and other rural skills. Local realtors who will be glad to show you more of our beautiful Rappahannock scenery are Roger Batchelder, whose office is in the tiny structure next to the clinic on Gay Street; Eileen Day, whose offices are in the Clopton House; and Newbill Miller, who can be found at The Maples right outside of town. During a break in the festivities you may want to travel on the old stage coach route.
