We hope also Dy this special Independence Day paper to give our support to the Fire Department in its fund-raising efforts and to promote local businesses that depend on tourism and the good will of county people for their survival. We urge all Rappahannock residents and visitors who join us on the 4th to support the Washington’s Firemen and all the other groups who make this celebration work each year.
We thank all those who raided their attics for pictures for us to use, and those whose brains we picked for history and county folklore. We enjoyed putting together the July 4th edition of the Rappahannock News. We hope that you will enjoy it, too.
