English as a Second Language. R-MA undertook an ESL class of six foreign students in the summer of 1981, and, owing to the success of this first ESL class in the area, decided to expand into a full, six-hour-aday program of solid English instruction equipped with three instructors, a language lab. and a battery of texts, records and tapes.
The 1982 international Student ESL Summer Program will be operated on the beginning and intermediate levels in an intensified, total emersion program designed to prepare foreign students for high school and collegel level work.
