Peggy also operates the Corner Post Restaurant. The Corner Post will be closed this weekend, but come back another time for the cozy relaxed atmosphere and fine food there.
Garden Club of Virginia, it is a working mill again and an outstanding example of 18th century architecture and technology.
After lunch on the grounds of the mill, the club members visited Glen Burnie, a private estate in Winchester. Walking under vine-covered arbors, they were treated to an escorted tour of the beautiful formal gardens of the estate.
