The 1982 Ash Lawn Summer Festival offering outdoor performances of 18th century comic opera and music at the home of James Monroe near Charlottesville, continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings through August 15 at Ash Lawn. Atkins Graduates

David , Nelson Atkins of Flint Hill graduated May 29, 1982, from Lord Fairfax Community College. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate Degree in Applied Science.

Atkins, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Nelson Atkins, Jr., of Flint Hill, was a 1980 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and also attended Piedmont Technical School. Since graduating, Atkins has been employed by Capitol Technigraphics in Springfield.
