Gid Brown Services
Fellowship services will be held at Gid Brown Bible Churcb near Washington on Saturday, July 3 beginning at 1:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and services will resume at 7 p.m. Guest preachers for the day include Evangelist Lacy Brooks from Bluefield, W. Va., William Robinson, pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Harrisonburg, Evangelist Pete Hengel of Spencer, N. C., and Charlie Boykins, pastor of Oak Park Road Baptist Church in Madison. Evangelist Brooks will be conducting the Sunday services on July 4. beginning at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. There will be special singing, transportation can be arranged by calling 675-3662 and a nursery will be provided. Pastor John K. Burke and the congregation invites the public to attend.
Ladies To Meet
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will meet Monday, July 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall. All members are urged to attend and are reminded that this will be the last meeting before the carnival, which will be held August 4-7.
Anniversary Celebration
The Macedonia Young Adult Choir of Flint Hill will be celebrating its 31st anniversary on Sunday, July 4, beginning at 3 p.m. at the chOrch. The Gospel Travellers from Madison will be guests. The Rev. James A. Price is the pastor and everyone is welcome.
