In addition to the special activities going on in town for the 4th of July, many of our local businesses will be open to serve those in town for the weekend.

The Washington House of Reproductions, located in a building formerly serving as Coxe’s Ordinary in pre-Civil War days, specializes in custom lighting and in the rebuilding and conversion of old lamps. Fran and Charles Eldred also have some antiques to sell as well as small curios and toys for youngsters. Their shop is located on Main Street toward the north end of town.
