Major and Mrs. Charles Grizzle of Fredericksburg were dinner guests Wednesday of Mrs. Emory ' Conners. Mrs. Lillie Johnson and Mrs. Chester Wayland visited Mrs. Walter Burke Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and 1 Mrs. K. P. Grigsby and Mrs. Brew Burke visited Brew Burke, a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Buster Hitt were visitors Saturday of Mrs. Virginia Jenkins, who remains a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Burgess of Richmond were guests for several days last week of Raymond Johnson.
Dr. and Mrs. David O. Winfrey of Smithsburg, Md., were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. H. B. Winfrey and Mrs. Dillard Glenn.
Vacation Bible School held last week at Woodville Baptist Church closed Friday evening and commencement exercises were held on Sunday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt spent the weekend at South Hill and on Saturday attended the wedding of Anne L .i^jrd LeGrand of Boydton, daughter of A. A. LeGrand, to Jonathan E. Mills Jr. The ceremony took place on the lawn of the LeGrand home in. Boydton and a reception followed immediately after the ceremony.
