Wakefield School in Huntly graduated its third senior class in special ceremonies held on Thursday evening in the school auditorium.
In opening remarks to the assembled students, faculty, parents, and friends, Wakefield Headmaster William Lynn pointed out that the Class of 1982 is the largest senior class that Wakefield has yet graduated, but less than half the size of next year’s senior class. In tracing the rapid growth and development of Wakefield, Lynn predicted a bright future for the college preparatory school founded nine years ago which now has an enrollment of 400 students drawn from a ten county area and from out of * Included in Dr. Leif's remarks was the announcement that Wakefield will begin this summer the biggest building program in the history of the school. A model of the new facilities to be constructed was on hand for inspection by the audience.
