William Roy, 95, of Washington died Saturday, June 26. 1982, at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Washington by the Rev. Wendell A. Grant. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A native of Rappahannock County, Mr. Roy was a retired farmer. His wife was the late Isabell Dearing Roy.
Survivors include one daughter, Ms. Maud Roy of Washington; two sons, William Roy Jr. of Harrisburg, Pa., and Raymond Dearing of Washington, D. C.; 16 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by the Joynes Funeral Home in Warrenton.
Brown
Patricia Ann Brown, 9, of Sperryville died Friday, June 25, 1982, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near her residence.
Daughter of Richard Allen (Buddy) and Shirley Ann Pullen Brown of Sperryville, she was a student at Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Charles Allen Brown and a sister, Melissa Dawn Brown, both at home, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pullen of Flint Hill.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Woodville Baptist Church by the Rev. Bobby Rooper and Rev. James Mastin. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
