The Rappahannock County Garden Club went on a field trip tor the group's June meeting last week. The club visited the Burwell-Morgan Mill in Millwood. The mill began operation in 1758, and operated until 1953. During the War between the States, flour and feed were sold to both armies. The story goes that soldiers from both armies were frequently seen swapping yarns with one another while waiting for their orders. The Mill’s restoration was begun in 1963 by Wayside Restoration Inc.. who presented it to the Clarke County Historical Association. Dedicated in 1971 and landscaped by the
