Rappahannock Ncwa Photo/Lorric Young GINNY PIERSON, founder of Ginny’s Kitchen in Amissville, spent last week preparing this cake for a wedding on Saturday. The cake fed 300 people with some left over. An original recipe that is Ginny’s closely guarded secret, the cake was made of chocolate and vanilla with white icing and blue trim. High humidity on Saturday caused problems as the icing literally slid off the cake. Ginny has been baking cakes for years as a hobby and along the way turned her hobby into a cottage industry.
