Cheryl Romine, a Rappahannock High School junior, won the Miss Rappahannock Beauty Pageant on Friday night at the elementary school.
Miss Romine is the daughter of Freda L. Pruitt of Flint Hill.
Sixty girls competed in five categories at the pageant, sponsored by the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad. (More photos on Page 8.)
