The town of Washington has
equipped a playground in the lot behind the post office for the children of the area. Swings, seesaws and sliding boards have been erected for their use.
With “A Gallery of Floral Art” as their name, the flower ladies of the Rappahannock Garden Club will “paint” with flowers for display on June 15 in the Parish Hall at Washington. The exhibition will present each artist’s concept of classical, modern or comical art through floral arrangement and individual technique.
