Bonnie North of Huntly was
named “Miss Rappahannock” in a beauty pageant held Friday evening at the. local high school. The pageant was sponsored by the Rappahannock Jaycees. Runners-up were Barbara Jean Dodson and Kay Cubbage, second and third respectively.
A new voting precinct is being established at Chester Gap in Rappahannock County. This will make two precincts for Wakefield District. Mrs. Mary Cleverley, registrar for Wakefield, will be at Chester Gap fire hall Friday at 7 p.m. for a preliminary screening of voters in an effort to determine who will vote where.
