Mrs. Wayland concluded, “I felt this was a good experience for the students because they were able to see the paintings in their proper perspective. Also, being able to see the paint on the canvas and knowing that Monet had actually dabbed it on
was important.”
The students were delighted to find out that they will be returning to the Gallery. This time they will be travelling by Metro and will visit the Corcoran and the National Gallery to see other exhibits that time did not allow for this trip.
